Apple iPad 2 Pros and Cons

iPad Pros
Design & style
Apple has done a really good job on the looks! The device looks really cool and is very light. I really loved their touch screen facility, it’s like the sci-fi computer we can see on the movies! Light weight and thin design makes it very comfortable to carry it almost everywhere.
Speed
Some people were very skeptical with the speed of iPad, but after using it for a while and comparing it with latest laptops I was amused – iPad is really quick! 1 Gig may not sound much, but if you use it for the purpose of iPad it is really more than enough. I was able to run all soft of applications, including internet, without any crashing whatsoever.
iWork
This was one of the many cool applications of iPad, the iWork is like your current Microsoft Office. You can write all sorts of documents such as: word, spreadsheets and presentations. iWork and internet make this device a must have, a very convenient way to do your work on the way. It is a lot lighter than your traditional laptop and the actual size of iPad makes it really easy to carry it with you.
Flexibility
The iPad basically fuses some of the best elements of iPhone and laptop computer. For instance, the larger screen provides more applications than you’d have with the iPhone. And whether you want to flip through pictures, music, or video, you can do it much more easily on the iPad, than via a laptop.
iPad Cons
No flash video
This is one of the things that really disappointed me; Apple iPad does not have flash. So if you are thinking to watch YouTube videos or play flash application, iPad will not work for you. Apple tried to maximize the efficiency of the web surfing by disabling this component. I really felt that a big drop off… I hope Apple do reconsider flash in their future iPad realizes. Or you never know, someone might even create a free flash plug-in for iPad.
No USB
One of the biggest lacks I found was that iPad does not have any USB slots; however this may not be as awful as it sounds. iPad itself is very light weight and has plenty of disk space (ranges from: 16Gb, 32Gb and 64 Gb)
Battery life
The official word from Apple is 10 hours. But if you’re extensively using applications such as video, expect that figure to be significantly lower.
Multi-tasking (or lack of)
In particular, the iPad lacks a webcam, or even a basic digital camera! However there will be separate accessories, including external webcams but an inbuilt camera would be great. Basically, if you were a fan of the iPod and iPhone, then you’ll likely love the iPad. If you’re not one of those people, then the iPad might be an iFlop.
